Feanor: "Say, sister, you've taken quite a shine to Marcus…"
Aruena glanced up at him from the book she was reading, her brow furrowing slightly before she turned her gaze back to the pages.

Aruena: "He is a decent young man."
Feanor: "That's not what I meant."
Aruena: "I understood your implications."

"Well?" - Feanor questioned.
"Well, what?" - she returned, a hint of irritation in her usually collected tone. "What would you have me do, seduce him? Not all of us can take as much liberty with our pleasures as you do."
Feanor:"Why not? Mother certainly had no issues with it…"
Aruena:"And I am NOT like mother, as you are well aware!"
Feanor dropped his gaze, aware of the faux-pas he committed. He fell silent for a moment, and so did Aruena. But he would not let this go, especially not if it was for his sister's own good. He cleared his throat and spoke again.
Feanor:"So you'd rather spend your eternity alone?" Aruena: "He is just a child…" Feanor: "He is a grown man by mortal standards. Besides, if you waited for someone your own age to come along, you'd be waiting around forever." Aruena: "Are you mocking me?" Feanor: "Not at all. I am merely saying… If you have feelings for him, don't let the opportunity pass you by. Our lifetimes may seem endless, but the fortunes presented to us are not. Do not disservice yourself by denying yourself a chance at happiness, especially if it's out of some misplaced sense of decency." "You're one to talk about decency…" - Aruena mumbled. "Why, sister dearest, I'm afraid there is no decent way to produce an heir!" - Feanor winked at her and flashed one of his signature lopsided grins, the kind only reserved for when he deliberately says something vulgar to get a rise out of his sister. But seriousness quickly settled back into his features. Feanor: "After all, wasn't it you who said it's preferable for a queen to have heirs with a partner she fancies? Aruena: "I did, but…" Feanor: "So, have you given thought to who you might fancy as a partner in your pursuit of heirs? We both know it is more than a mere personal concern. You must think of the future of our dynasty. Of the realm."
